We are excited to join the Student Athletes at Virginia Tech for their annual Career Jumpstart Student Athlete Career Fair on Monday, October 7 from 7-8:30PM. Many of our Troopers across the state played sports in high school and college. We know the qualities that make a student a good athlete are the same qualities we are looking for in a Trooper. Possessing discipline, dedication, drive, as well as having the heart and mindset to do demanding work are some of the attributes we want to see in our qualified applicants. In addition to our Recruiter, we will have two former Hokie football players present to talk about how their time at VT prepared them for a career with the Virginia State Police.
